A strong civil society is more important than ever before

The world doesn't stand still. The ability to adapt quickly to new circumstances is vital for us. Every one of us is free to move across Europe which helps us strengthen the ties between all European countries. It's observed that faster and more convenient communication and transport cause more frequent intercultural exchanges and mobility of people for educational, touristic or career purposes.
This tendency creates the need of tolerance and understanding of cultural diversity and raises crucial issues like active
citizenship, national or local identity. In multicultural societies, there's a constant need of lifelong learning and using different foreign languages, especially English. Learning other peoples' languages or speaking a common language is a way to understand each other better and overcome cultural differences. In increasingly complex world creativity, the ability to think laterally, various skills and adaptability tend to be valued more than specialized knowledge. Together we will gradually enhance our skills of integrated, comprehensive media literacy and be a wise producers and consumers of information and hopefully be ready to create guidelines and models for creating projects using new media, using audio and video, and using computer-aided design and how to integrate media literacy lessons into our curricula.
Participating in the project is going to give us new insight of media literacy and to improve our understanding of the latest media literacy tendency
